I have found my period of regular counselling with John Lees enormously helpful. This was a path of deep healing. It helped me understand much of what lay at the core of my distress and illness and helped me to arrive at a new sense of my life as an integrated whole. I felt freed from old patterns of behaviour and was given tools to develop new ways of being in the present and responding to events in ways truer to my higher self. I am very grateful to John for his expert guidance.

I had the good fortune to be recommended to John Lees during a very challenging period of my life in my late fifties. Looking towards retirement I’d found my self-confidence slipping away and I’d lost all my sense of purpose in life. I saw John regularly for about a year and during that time I found him to be an empathetic listener and support whilst he provided me with a structure through which I could begin to understand my biography to date, the challenges holding me back and a helpful and effective strategy for taking back control of my future. At both psychological and spiritual levels my sessions with John were life changing.

Through working with John I found myself learning to be able to place myself within my immediate surroundings and a more ‘whole world’ view. I feel John was able to teach me to become more attuned to myself and those around me, to be able to identify spiritual activity/help around me.  Working together, I feel I learnt to step back from experiences in life and look at them in the light of what was being moved/stimulated and the important activity that then came. I found this perspective very useful as it brought understanding and genuine acceptance/sympathy for life and was an outlook I could take away and continue to implement/work with.
